Besides that, improving livestock genetics also requires better feed support to achieve the expected productivity. 

The low quality of raw materials has an impact on poor livestock productivity and increased susceptibility to disease, suboptimal nutrient absorption from feed will affect whether the formation of immunity is good, so the farmers must be careful in determining what kind of additional feed/feed additives should be used to substitute the quality of raw materials in accordance to livestock needs and production costs.
