The Importance of Ventilation in Poultry Farm

The use of closed houses for broilers is very necessary in line with the development of broilers and the current climate. A closed house is a cage system where air from outside cannot enter, except through the inlet and out through the outlet which is made in a ventilation system.

The ventilation system can remove heat, moisture, and harmful gases (CO, CO2, NH3) in the coop, and can provide the O2 needs of the chickens for optimal performance.

Tunnel ventilation resembles a tunnel in which air flows into the tunnel from front to back. In tunnel ventilation, the input is only through the cooling or inlet area and the output is only through the exhaust fan or fan.
